Birth registration is the registration of a person under the Birth and Death Registration Act, 2004 (Act No. 29 of 2004), name, gender, date and place of birth, name of parents, their nationality and permanent address. To issue a certificate.

Birth registration is important for determining a person's identity and age, and for planning in the case of the state. It is essential to know the actual age of the person in case of receiving medical services, admission in an educational institution, marriage, etc., and this requirement is required to complete the birth registration at birth.

(C) admission to educational institutions;
(D) government, private or autonomous agencies;
(E) issue of driving license;
(F) preparation of voter list;
(G) land registration;
The Birth and Death Registration Rules include:
(H) opening a bank account;
(I) obtaining import and export licenses;
(J) receipt of gas, water, telephone and electricity connections;
(K) obtaining a Tax Identification Number (TIN);
(L) obtaining a contracting license;
(M) approval of house design;
(6) Receipt of vehicle registration;
(O) Obtaining trade license and
(P) Receipt of National Identity Card.
Birth information provider

The child's parent or guardian will be responsible for providing birth information to the registrar within 45 days of the child's birth.

In addition, the following persons may send information to the Registrar for registration of birth of any person:

Members of the Union Council, and Secretary;
Village police;
City Corporation Bapaursavar Councilor;
Health workers and family welfare workers in Union Parishad, Municipality, City Corporation or Cantonment areas;
Fieldworkers of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) engaged in the health and family welfare sector;
In case of birth in any government or private hospital or clinic or maternity hospital or any other institution, the medical officer in charge of it or the doctor or any authorized officer;
Any other officer or employee appointed by the Registrar;
A person who is born in a prison is a prison super or a person authorized by the district or by him.
